The Indus Hospital Enters into a Research Collaboration with International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences

The Indus Hospital (TIH) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences – ICCBS (HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry, Dr.Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research), University of Karachi. Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, Chief Executive Officer, Indus Health Network and Professor Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary, Director ICCBS signed the MoU. Dr. Naila Baig-Ansari, Chair Indus Hospital Research center and other faculty member were present.

ICCBS is one of the most eminent centers of excellence and one of the finest academic research establishments of chemical and biological sciences in the developing world. The research collaboration between TIH and ICCBS will confirm the mutual interest of both organizations to discuss and explore collaborative opportunities to promote translational health research through cooperation in the field of biological, biomedical and clinical research including clinical trials.

The two organizations will undertake multiple activities: joint health-related research; joint supervision of postgraduate students; transfer and share knowledge and skills; exchange academic material and other information; joint publications, patent, and other material under material transfer agreement.

ICCBS will include the Indus Hospital as one of its official sites for clinical trials with the regulatory authorities.
