Student Summer Training Programme – FAQs
The Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) Student Summer Training Programme is a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in both medical and non-medical fields within one of Pakistan’s leading non-profit healthcare organisations. Students will engage in hospital operations, patient care, marketing, resource mobilisation, supply chain and public health while witnessing the impact of free-of-cost healthcare on underserved communities.
The programme will be held in July. There will be two windows: one from the 7th to the 15th, and another from the 21st to the 29th.
Application charges may be applicable.
The programme is open to international students aged 14-22, who are passionate about healthcare, philanthropy and social impact. While there are no strict academic prerequisites, applicants must be able to commit to the training schedule.
The deadline for applications is May 31st, 2025.
Students are responsible for arranging their travel, accommodation and daily commute to the hospital.
At IHHN, student safety is paramount. Our hospital premises are monitored 24/7 through a comprehensive security system, including trained security personnel and CCTV surveillance. Students will be supervised at all times during the programme. For any travel outside the city, enhanced security measures will be arranged to ensure complete peace of mind.
