Mehwish, a 29-year-old mother of two, has a special connection with Indus Hospital & Health Network. Her father-in-law received life-saving treatment for diabetes and a heart bypass there 12 years ago, and now Mehwish has chosen IHHN for the birth of both her children.
Mehwish’s youngest son, Zaviar, is just two months old, with her older son being six years old. Despite the challenges of caring for a large household – Mehwish lives with her family of 10 in Korangi – she is grateful for the care she received during her pregnancies. Additionally, her husband works as a delivery rider to provide for their family.
During her pregnancy, Mehwish struggled with weakness, but the medical team at Indus Hospital & Health Network quickly responded with a solution. She was provided with ration packages within the NourishMom Programme to help combat her weakness and ensure she received the necessary nutrients for a healthy pregnancy.
Despite the financial challenges they face, Mehwish is thankful for the care she received at Indus Hospital & Health Network. She reflects on her positive experience, saying:
“I’ve had a good experience here. The care I received has been excellent, and I’m grateful for the care.”
