Dubai: Indus Hospital & Health Network celebrated its Youth Ambassadors by acknowledging their efforts and success through an exclusive event held on September 02, 2021, at Metropolitan Hotel Dubai, UAE.
An inspirational set of 15 Pakistani students between the ages of 13-18 years took the initiative to further Indus Hospital & Health Network’s cause of free and quality healthcare for all. These passionate individuals came together to utilize their resources and raise funds for the Pediatric Oncology Unit at the Indus Hospital, Korangi Campus in Karachi, Pakistan. Students galvanized their social circles, friends, and families to raise awareness about the wide array of work done for the vulnerable and underprivileged people of Pakistan. Our ambassadors from Dubai College, Jumeirah College, Jebel Ali School, GEMS Wellington International School, and Jumeirah English Speaking School set out to make this world a better place for the ones who are struggling to afford the bare minimum.
These Champions of Change achieved an ambitious target only in 3 months, collectively raising AED 93,411 through YallaGive platform IACAD permit number 3754 and sponsored more than 1000 chemotherapy sessions. This achievement is a mere example of the philanthropic zeal that drives Indus Hospital & Health Network’s volunteers, who overcome physical limitations and strive to eradicate poverty by taking away the burden from families trying to find quality healthcare for their loved ones.
