Indus Hospital & Health Network’s Dr. Sarfaraz Ahmed Represents Pakistan at the 4th International Congress on Emergency Medicine in Turkey

Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) is proud to announce that Dr. Sarfaraz Ahmed, Head of the Emergency Department at Dr. Sikandar Ali Mandhro Civil Hospital Badin, managed by Indus Hospital and Health Network, represented Pakistan at the prestigious 4th International Congress on Emergency Medicine, organised by the Turkish Emergency Medicine Foundation, from October 23 to 26, 2024.

Dr. Sarfaraz, an accomplished emergency medicine Consultant, delivered an impactful lecture on “Crisis Resources Management in Trauma Care,” sharing insights into critical strategies and protocols essential for handling trauma cases in stressful environments. He also led a focused workshop titled “Collaborative Advanced Trauma Care Course (CATC)” during the conference. He visited Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Şehir Hospital in Istanbul, where he served as a guest speaker, delivering a lecture on “Primary Survey in Trauma Care.”

Dr. Sarfaraz’s journey is a testament to his commitment and dedication. After completing his residency in 2023, he achieved his FCPS in May 2024 and joined the Indus Badin ED team as a Consultant in September 2024. His participation in an international forum exemplifies expertise that contributes to healthcare advancements globally and in Pakistan. Collaborations on an international scale are vital in highlighting the journey that IHHN, is undergoing in bringing accessible healthcare to all.
