Consul General of Türkiye visits Indus Hospital & Health Network

The Consul General of Türkiye in Karachi, Mr. Cemal SANGU, visited Indus Hospital & Health Network’s (IHHN) Korangi Campus. He was warmly received by Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, President of IHHN, along with Mr. Syed Mashhood Rizvi, Executive Director of the Communications & Resource Development Directorate and Chief of Staff to the President. Mr. Siddique Sheikh, Ex-Chairman of the Board, IHHN, was also present during the visit.

Mr. SANGU toured the existing facilities at IHHN’s flagship Korangi Campus, which delivers free, world-class healthcare services to millions of patients annually. He also visited the New Hospital Building and the Indus Blood Centre, which are key developments in IHHN’s ongoing expansion aimed at increasing capacity and enhancing specialised healthcare services.

During the visit, Mr. SANGU expressed his excitement and admiration for IHHN’s efforts in transforming Pakistan’s healthcare sector. He praised the team’s commitment to providing equitable, free-of-cost healthcare to underserved communities. Mr. SANGU also highlighted the longstanding collaboration between Türkiye and Pakistan, including IHHN’s management of the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Hospital in Muzaffargarh, a project which is being managed by IHHN followed by the generosity of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and TİKA to support healthcare in Pakistan.
